MEET JUDGE JIM MYLES
I grew up in a small town in Michigan. I was one of five children, and my mother and father, a World War II veteran, were hard-working members of our community.
We knew all about hard work and determination. My father worked at a large power company in Essexville, and my mother was a social worker and probation officer. My parents were dedicated to serving our community and making it a better place for our family.
"We need to come back together and unite around the values that made America the greatest country ever." - Jim Myles

I continued my family's tradition of service and joined the U.S. Air Force. After I completed the flight screening program, I went to officer training school, then undergraduate pilot training, and I finished at the top of my class, selected to return as a first assignment instructor pilot.
After serving in the military, I continued my service to our country and eventually became a Federal Judge.
After my retirement last year, I knew that service to my country wasn't finished. I know what it means to lead by example. My life has been committed to serving our great nation and our Commonwealth. After honorably serving as a judge and retiring in 2021, I knew my commitment to our country wasn't over.
I decided it was time to step up and serve my country in Congress. I couldn't sit by watching my beloved country be taken away and pushed down an extreme, radical left socialist path. As a country, we must all do better.
I hope to earn your support this November. Fairfax deserves better, and I look forward to continuing my commitment to serve you, to work for you, as your Representative for the 11th Congressional District.
